The principals of BellPhillips Safety Group share the goal of all Safety Professionals: to provide processes and structure in working environments that are secure for people and efficient for project owners.
This balance is maintained through strong communications and understanding. There is no place for assumptions in complex and challenging workplaces. While BellPhillips has extensive experience, the requirements of each project demands careful planning and proper safety co- ordination.
The company's role is to a) uphold the legal safety requirements as specified in Section 118 of the Act; b) enable workers to carry out their tasks safely using reasonable methods and tools; and c) give the general contractors and project owner’s real-time safety management.
BellPhillips Safety Group doesn't take chances, and doesn't take every contract. Our goal is the integration of safety philosophy for workers, for employers and for our own long term reputation. Where unsafe conditions exist, we provide people with safe methods to complete the work, give project owners clear understanding of the conditions and what is required to meet the regulations and owners' OHS programs and procedures.
OUR HISTORY
BellPhillips Safety Group was formed in 2009. The principals are experienced Site Superintendents and Site Safety Specialists. Their interactions with each other since 2003 on various projects gave them excellent views into each other's standards of delivering safety and project management services.
Each of the principals has deep experience throughout a wide variety of working environments previous to the formation of BellPhillips Safety Group.
As more recent client's projects have required specific skills and systems, the company has grown to offer a full range of services. BPSG is the one-stop resource for safety management.
This is a safety management company specializing in helping construction companies manage establish internal safety programs or assisting in the creation of an OHS program from the ground up that is tailor-fitted to that company's needs.
BellPhillips continues to work in the Run-Of-River Industry as Prime Safety. BellPhillips has experienced qualified safety people that can hit the ground running (all BPSG safety people have their level 2/3 First Aid).
We also take care of our clients training requirements with 3 instructors who can teach and certify in 15 different courses such as Scissor lift, Boom lift, Fork lift, Zoom boom, Skid Steer, Fall protection, Confined space, WHMIS 2015 etc. BPSG has an ETV (ambulance) for rent: fully stocked with or without attendant.
The COR is a voluntary program for employers. When they have achieved COR standards, they will receive an annual rebate. BellPhillips guides employers and can provide new Occupational Health & Safety manuals plus safe work procedures.
